JOB TITLE: Groundworker with 360 Excavator Ticket
HOURS: Full-time; Monday to Friday
LOCATION: Isle of Grain, Kent
RATE: £21 phr
START DATE: ASAP
Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Groundworker with a 360 Excavator Ticket for a long-term civil engineering and infrastructure project in the Isle of Grain.
The successful candidate will primarily be operating a 360 Excavator (up to 10T or above depending on ticket), but must also be prepared to assist with general groundworks as required. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong work ethic, good site awareness, and proven experience on similar projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Safe and efficient operation of a 360-degree excavator (tracked)
Digging trenches, foundations, and footings
Grading, levelling, and lifting operations
Supporting drainage, ducting, and utility installations
Assisting with all aspects of groundworks when not operating the machine, including:
- Concreting
- Pipe laying
- Kerbing and slabbing
- General labouring and site duties
Ensuring all works are carried out in line with site health & safety procedures
Conducting daily checks on machinery and reporting defects
Qualifications & Certifications Required:
Valid CPCS or NPORS card (with 360 Excavator endorsement)
Valid CSCS Card
Proven experience operating a 360 excavator on civil or construction sites
Good understanding of groundworks and site processes
Full PPE
Strong awareness of health & safety on site
Right to work in the UK
Ability to travel to and from site daily (own transport is preferred due to site location)
