We are currently looking for a skilled and reliable 360 Excavator Operator to join our team on an active construction site in Maidstone. The successful candidate will have experience operating a range of excavator sizes and will be confident working in a busy site environment, ensuring all work is carried out safely and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate 360-degree excavators of various sizes to carry out excavation, grading, and lifting tasks in line with site requirements.
- Work closely with the site team to support groundworks, drainage, foundations, and general site preparation.
- Conduct daily safety checks and ensure machinery is maintained in good working order.
- Follow all site health and safety procedures and maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors, engineers, and other trades to ensure smooth project progress.
Requirements:
- Valid CPCS or NPORS 360 Excavator ticket (lifting ops advantageous).
- Valid CSCS card.
- Full PPE (hard hat, boots, hi-vis, gloves, etc.).
- Proven experience operating different size excavators on construction or civil engineering projects.
- Strong awareness of site health and safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Punctual, reliable, and professional attitude.
