JOB ROLE: Assistant Site Manager
LOCATION: Folkestone, Kent
RATE: £200/day - £250/day
START DATE: November 2025
About the Role:
RGM Recruitment Ltd is excited to present an opportunity for an Assistant Site Manager working with an award winning Kent based National Developer. You will be working on a new traditional build residential development comprising of 200x units, including both houses and apartments built to private and housing association specifications.
Key Responsibilities:

Managing the master build programme

Leading weekly progress meetings with site staff and subcontractors

Weekly progress reporting to the Site Manager

Ensuring milestone targets are met per the build schedule

Coordinating and managing subcontractor packages (internal/external)

Upholding Health & Safety standards: site inductions, RAMS, inspections

Ensuring quality control - units finished to expected standard before NHBC inspection
Requirements:

Around 2+ years experience, ideally with a residential developer

Up-to-date CITB qualifications, including CSCS card, SMSTS and First Aid at Work

Strong eye for detail

Experience managing multiple subcontractor packages and direct labour

Proven organisation and time management skills

Experience with similar scale residential schemes is preferred but not essential
