JOB TYPE: Temporary, Full-Time
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Banksman with a valid CPCS or NPORS card (Vehicle Marshaller qualification) to join a busy and well-established site based on the Isle of Grain.
This is a great opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious individual seeking consistent work on a high-profile construction or industrial project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely directing the movement of vehicles and plant on and around the site
- Coordinating and managing deliveries to ensure safe access and egress
- Communicating clearly with drivers, machine operators, and site management
- Ensuring that all movements adhere to on-site safety procedures
- Maintaining pedestrian exclusion zones and monitoring safe walkways
- Assisting with traffic management and other site duties as required
Requirements:
- Valid CPCS or NPORS card with the Vehicle Marshaller qualification
- Demonstrable experience in a Banksman role on a busy construction or industrial site
- Strong understanding of site health & safety protocols
- Full PPE required: Hard hat, hi-vis clothing, steel toe boots, gloves, and eye protection
- A reliable and punctual attitude
- Must be able to travel to and from the Isle of Grain daily
