We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Bricklayer for a 1-day job in Notting Hill, West London, starting tomorrow, Tuesday 11th August.
The Work
You will be required to carry out brickwork repairs and block up existing holes, with approximately 100 bricks to be laid.
The works will include:
- Blocking up existing holes in brickwork
- Laying approximately 100 bricks
- Matching into the existing brickwork
- Following a Flemish bond pattern
- Ensuring courses, levels and joints are accurately aligned
- Cutting and fitting bricks where required
- Producing a neat and professional finish
- Keeping the work area clean and tidy throughout
Important: Experience working with Flemish bond is essential, as the new brickwork will need to tie in neatly with the existing pattern.
Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Valid CSCS card
- Proven experience as a Bricklayer
- Demonstrable experience with brickwork repairs and infill work
- Experience working with Flemish bond
- Own suitable PPE
- References available upon request
- Strong attention to detail
- High standard of workmanship
- Good reliability and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and complete the works to a professional standard
