Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join an ongoing construction project in Maidstone, Kent. This role will involve a range of 1st and 2nd fix carpentry duties on-site, contributing to the successful delivery of the project. The ideal candidate will be highly competent, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out 1st fix carpentry including stud work, joists, and framework

2nd fix carpentry such as hanging doors, fitting skirting boards, architraves, and ironmongery

Installing kitchens, cabinets, and bespoke joinery where required

Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans

Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within deadlines

Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area

Collaborating with site managers and other trades on-site
Requirements:

Valid CSCS card
-
Full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

Proven experience as a Carpenter (1st and 2nd fix)

Own tools preferred

Ability to read drawings and work accurately from plans

Checkable references

Strong attention to detail and reliability
