LOCATION: Newhaven, East Sussex
START DATE: Monday 28th September
PAY RATE: £26 per hour
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 1st and 2nd fix carpentry
Duties
-
Carrying out 1st fix carpentry work
-
Carrying out 2nd fix carpentry work
-
General carpentry and joinery duties on site
-
Measuring, cutting and installing timber and other materials
-
Working from drawings and specifications where required
-
Installing doors, frames, skirting, architraves and other finishing work
-
Completing work to a high standard and within agreed timescales
-
Keeping the work area clean, tidy and safe
-
Working alongside other trades on site
-
Following site health and safety requirements
Requirements
-
Previous experience as a Carpenter
-
Good experience in both 1st and 2nd fix carpentry
-
Own tools required
-
Good understanding of carpentry methods and materials
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-
Good attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship
-
Reliable and punctual
-
Able to start Monday 28th September

Relevant qualifications or site experience preferred
