Electrical Engineer / Supervisor – Renewable Energy & Commercial Projects
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with supervisory/management experience to join a growing business within the renewable energy sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and technically strong individual with experience across commercial projects and renewable technologies including Solar PV, battery storage systems, EV charging installations, and other energy-efficient solutions.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered to the highest technical and quality standards. This position is critical in maintaining compliance, reducing defects, and improving installation performance across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising and managing electrical installation teams on-site
- Carrying out commissioning of renewable energy systems
- Ensuring all installations meet current regulations and compliance standards
- Maintaining high levels of workmanship, safety, and quality control
- Supporting project delivery across commercial renewable projects nationwide
- Identifying and resolving technical issues efficiently
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
Requirements:
- Proven experience within the renewable energy sector
- Strong commercial project experience
- Experience with Solar PV, battery storage systems, EV charging, and associated technologies
- Previous supervisory or management experience
- Commissioning experience is essential
- Strong understanding of compliance and industry regulations
- Ability to deliver projects to the highest technical and quality standards
- Full UK Driving Licence
