We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Groundworker to work on a residential construction site based in Hythe, Kent.
This role is ideal for someone with solid experience in general groundwork and a valid Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card. The position starts on Monday 3rd November and is expected to run through to the end of January 2026, with the possibility of extension depending on site progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out general groundwork duties on a new-build residential site
- Trenching, ducting, foundations, and drainage works
- Slabbing, kerbing, and basic paving tasks as required
- Assisting with site levelling, reinstatement, and preparation
- Working alongside plant operatives and other trades
- Ensuring all tasks are completed in line with health and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Valid Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card – Essential
- Proven experience in all aspects of general groundworks
- Own full PPE: Hard hat, high-visibility vest/jacket, steel toe-capped boots, gloves
- Ability to work from drawings and follow site instructions
- Punctual, hardworking, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Must be reliable and committed to seeing the project through to completion
