JOB TITLE: Groundworker / Dumper Operator - SEQOHS Medical
CONTRACT: Ongoing until end of February 2026
START: Immediate
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Groundworker / Dumper Driver to join our team on a long-term project in Bexhill. This role will suit someone who is confident operating plant but is equally willing and capable of assisting with groundworks tasks as required. This is not a role where you will be in the machine all day; flexibility and a strong work ethic are essential.
The groundworks involved are purely finishing works. There is no drainage on this project.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe and efficient operation of the dumper on a busy construction site
- Supporting the site team with general groundworks duties
- Carrying out finishing works such as edging, levelling, raking, preparing areas for surfacing, and other final-stage tasks
- Working collaboratively with site supervisors and fellow operatives
- Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment
- Always following site health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Valid CPCS or NPORS for Dumper
- Valid CSCS card
- Valid SEQOHS medical
- Proven experience as both a groundworker and dumper driver
- Strong understanding of site safety protocols
- Ability to work as part of a team and assist with manual tasks when required
- Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to an ongoing project
