LOCATION: Chatham, Kent
PAY RATE: £20.00 per hour
PAID HOURS: 9 hours per day
The successful candidate will be required to carry out finishing groundworks on site, ensuring all works are completed to a high standard and in line with site requirements.
Duties are likely to include:
- Carrying out general groundworks and finishing works
- Completing final finishing and tidying works to ground areas
- Levelling and preparing surfaces
- Carrying out minor remedial and finishing works as required
- Assisting with drainage and external works where required
- Working around existing services and structures safely
- Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe
- Following site instructions and health and safety procedures
- Working alongside other trades and site personnel
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
Applicants must:
- Have previous experience as a Groundworker
- Have experience carrying out finishing groundworks
- Hold a valid CSCS card
- Have their own suitable PPE
- Be able to provide relevant references
- Be reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Have a good understanding of site health and safety
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Be available for both days of cover work
