LOCATION: Chatham, Kent
START DATE: Monday 19th October 2026
END DATE: Friday 18th December 2026
PAY RATE: £20 per hour
HOURS: 9 hours per day
We are looking for an experienced and reliable groundworker for a project in Chatham, Kent. The successful candidate must have good experience in general groundworks and be confident carrying out finishing works to a high standard. Applicants must be hardworking, reliable and able to work well as part of a team.
Duties:
- Carrying out general groundworks duties.
- Completing finishing works to a high standard.
- Preparing, levelling and finishing ground surfaces.
- Assisting with concreting, kerbing and edging where required.
- Ensuring all work is completed neatly and to the required standard.
- Keeping the work area clean and tidy.
- Following site health and safety procedures.
- Working alongside other trades and site personnel.
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS card.
- Full PPE.
- Previous groundworking experience.
- Must be confident and experienced in finishing works.
- Checkable references.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Must be available for the full duration of the job.
