JOB ROLE: Health & Safety Manager
LOCATION: High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire
SALARY: £210/day - £220/day + competitive package
HOURS: 45 hours per week
About the Role:
RGM Recruitment Ltd is excited to present an opportunity for a Health & Safety Manager to join our client’s team. They are seeking a proactive and experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead and develop their health, safety, and compliance strategy. This is a key position within the business ensuring engineers, staff and clients remain safe and compliant at all times. You will oversee all aspects of health and safety management across live projects, offices and client sites.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement and maintain the company’s Health & Safety policies, procedures and management systems

Carry out risk assessments, site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with legislation and company standards

Provide guidance, training and support to staff on all H&S matters

Investigate incidents/near misses, produce reports and recommend corrective actions

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g. Health & Safety at Work Act, CDM Regulations, Fire Safety legislation)

Work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure safe systems of work are followed

Keep up to date with changes in legislation and industry best practices, advising management accordingly
Requirements:

NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and membership of IOSH (GradIOSH/CMIOSH preferred)

Proven experience in a Health & Safety management role, ideally within fire alarms, electrical contracting, construction or related industries

Strong knowledge of CDM regulations and site safety practices

Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to promote a positive safety culture

Highly organised with strong problem-solving abilities

Full UK driving licence (some travel to sites required)
