Job Description
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our site team on a project based in Edinburgh starting in January 2026. The successful candidate will support skilled trades and site management by carrying out a range of general labouring duties to ensure the smooth and safe running of the construction site.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting tradespeople on site as required
- General site labouring duties
- Loading and unloading materials
- Moving materials and equipment around site
- Keeping the site clean, tidy, and safe at all times
- Assisting with basic construction tasks under supervision
- Adhering to all site health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card (essential)
- Full PPE including hard hat, high-visibility vest, safety boots, gloves, and eye protection
- Previous experience in a construction or labouring role preferred but not essential
- Good understanding of health and safety on construction sites
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual work
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work as part of a team
