LOCATION: Blean, Canterbury, Kent
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: 2 weeks
PAY RATE: £16.94 per hour
HOURS: 9 hours paid per day
We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join a busy construction site in Blean, Canterbury, starting ASAP.
The Role
As a Labourer, you will be supporting the site team with general labouring and site duties. Your responsibilities may include:
- General site labouring and assisting tradespeople
- Loading, unloading and moving materials around site
- Keeping the site clean, tidy and organised
- Assisting with deliveries and material movements
- Helping with general construction duties as required
- Following site health and safety procedures at all times
- Carrying out instructions from the Site Manager and supervisors
- Maintaining a safe working environment
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you will need:
- Valid CSCS card – essential
- Previous construction/site labouring experience
- Full PPE – hard hat, hi-vis and safety boots
- A good understanding of site health and safety
- Good timekeeping and reliability
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Recent work references
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude
