LOCATION: Isle of Grain, Kent
START DATE: 2nd November 2026
END DATE: 18th December 2026
PAY RATE: £16.94 per hour
This is a temporary labouring position running from 2nd November until 18th December 2026. We are looking for two dependable individuals who are committed to their work, punctual and able to support the site team with general labouring duties throughout the assignment.
Successful candidates must be prepared to work in a busy site environment, follow instructions from site management and maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
Duties
- Carrying out general labouring duties across the site as required.
- Keeping the site clean, tidy and free from rubbish and debris.
- Maintaining good housekeeping standards in all working areas.
- Loading, unloading and moving materials around the site.
- Assisting tradespeople and other site personnel when required.
- Helping with the delivery, storage and organisation of materials.
- Ensuring walkways and access routes remain clear and safe.
- Following instructions from supervisors and site management.
- Wearing the correct PPE and following all site health and safety procedures.
- Reporting any hazards, unsafe conditions or damaged equipment to the relevant supervisor.
- Carrying out any other reasonable labouring duties required on site.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid CSCS card.
- Must have the correct PPE for working on site, including safety boots, a hard hat and a high-visibility vest, along with any additional PPE required.
- Must be able to provide references.
- Previous experience working as a labourer on a construction site is preferred.
- Must be reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Must have a good understanding of site health and safety procedures.
- Must be able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Must be physically capable of carrying out general labouring duties, including lifting and moving materials where required.
- Must be available to work from 2nd November until 18th December 2026.
