About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Multi-Trader to join our growing construction and maintenance team in Rochester, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, skilled tradesperson who can confidently carry out a wide range of construction and finishing works to a high standard.
The successful candidate will be capable of working independently or as part of a team, delivering quality workmanship across residential and/or commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out a broad range of multi-trade works, including but not limited to:
- Carpentry & joinery (1st and 2nd fix)
- Plaster boarding and patch plastering
- Basic plumbing (repairs, replacements, fitting sanitary ware)
- Tiling (walls and floors)
- Painting & decorating
- Flooring (laminate, vinyl, repairs)
- General maintenance and snagging works
- Read and interpret drawings and job specifications
- Ensure work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Adhere to all health & safety regulations on site
- Communicate effectively with site managers, supervisors, and clients
Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card (essential)
- Proven experience as a Multi-Trader within construction or maintenance
- Strong understanding of all aspects of multi-trade work
- Ability to work independently and solve problems on site
- Own tools
- Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
