PAY RATE: £160 - £170 a day

We are currently recruiting for a skilled and reliable Painter to join our team for a short-term project based in Wembley. This role is ideal for a qualified tradesperson with a valid IPAF 3a & 3b license, CSCS card, and an NVQ Level 2 in Painting & Decorating.
The position involves operating mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs) and carrying out professional painting work at height, with tasks taking place up to approximately 5 metres above ground level. The successful candidate must be able to deliver high-quality finishes while adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely operate MEWPs (IPAF 3a – scissor lifts and 3b – boom lifts) to access elevated work areas up to 5 metres high
- Carry out all aspects of surface preparation, undercoating, painting, and finishing to a high standard
- Ensure compliance with site health and safety procedures, including correct use of access equipment and PPE
- Maintain tools and equipment and keep a clean working area
- Liaise with site supervisors to ensure work is completed on time and to specification
- Perform any required snagging or touch-up work to meet finish standards
Essential Requirements:
- Valid IPAF 3a & 3b License – Must be competent in operating both scissor and boom lifts
- CSCS Card – Required for site access
- NVQ Level 2 in Painting & Decorating – Formal qualification essential
- Experience in a professional painting role, ideally on construction or commercial sites
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality work
- Ability to work confidently and safely at height
- Own PPE
