JOB ROLE: Quantity Surveyor
LOCATION: Maidstone, Kent
RATE: £300/day - £400/day
START DATE: March 2026
About the Role:
RGM Recruitment Ltd is excited to present an opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor working with an industry leading Kent based Dry Lining subcontractor. They work alongside award winning residential developers across Kent and the Southern Home Counties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, you will oversee live construction sites and manage procurement at various build stages

Reviewing the programme of works

Monthly progress meetings with clients, site teams and developers

Pre-start meetings with developers and site teams

Preparation of tender documentation

Negotiating payments

Preparing Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) on a monthly basis

Maintaining cost control protocols and delivering regular reports
Requirements:

Demonstrable experience as a Quantity Surveyor (ideally recent and relevant)

A qualification at HNC level or above within a construction-related discipline

A background in Dry Lining is preferred (though not essential)
