JOB ROLE: Solar PV Contracts Manager
LOCATION: West Malling, Kent
SALARY: £40k - £60k + competitive package
START DATE: April 2026
About the Role:
RGM Recruitment Ltd is excited to present an opportunity for a Solar PV Contracts Manager working with a specialist in renewable energy, electric vehicle charging and ESG solutions for the new build construction and retrofit sectors. They provide end-to-end solutions, ensuring their clients meet their sustainability and planning targets through innovative carbon reduction initiatives.
They are looking for an experienced Solar PV Contracts Manager to lead and deliver high-impact projects from pre-construction to project completion. This includes large multi-plot housing schemes, retrofit commercial properties and mass energy efficiency upgrades. With a commitment to sustainability and innovation, this role will play a vital part in helping drive impactful change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee full contract management, from handover to post-commissioning, ensuring delivery aligns with contract deadlines
- Coordinate with internal and external teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Serve as the central coordination point between the client, QS, project managers, design teams and project delivery teams
- Lead material and revenue forecasting for efficient project execution
- Manage resources, including scheduling labour, materials and necessary equipment
- Build positive relationships through regular communication with clients and site managers, providing updates and progress reports
- Ensure all pre-installation and post-completion documentation (DNO, RAMS, O&Ms, certifications) is timely and accurate
- Work closely with suppliers and subcontractors as needed to guarantee seamless project execution
- Identify potential project risks and implement effective solutions
- Manage installation teams, ensure smooth operations and maintain a positive team environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in renewable energy - Solar PV
- Proven experience in contracts management
- Electrical qualifications / experience - desirable
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
- Confident managing budgets, teams, time lines and technical delivery
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
