POSITION: Telehandler Operator
LOCATION: Canterbury, Kent
HOURS: (7:30am – 4:30pm)
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Telehandler Operator for an active construction site based in Canterbury. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established site team and contribute to a fast-paced, professional project.
As the designated Telehandler on site, you will be responsible for:
- Operating the telehandler to safely lift, move, and place materials as required
- Assisting with general site duties when needed
- Maintaining equipment and carrying out daily safety checks
- Supporting trades and site managers with logistics around the site
- Following all site health and safety procedures
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket
- A valid CSCS card
- Previous experience operating telehandlers on a construction site
- Full PPE (hard hat, high-visibility vest, safety boots, gloves)
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
