Job Description
RGM Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Telehandler Operator for ongoing work on a busy construction site in Lenham, Kent. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating the telehandler safely and efficiently, supporting site operations, and assisting with the smooth running of day-to-day site logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe and efficient operation of the telehandler always.
- Loading, unloading, and moving materials and equipment around the site.
- Supporting site management and trades with lifting and material distribution.
- Conducting routine checks and basic maintenance of the machine.
- Adhering strictly to site health and safety procedures and company policies.
- Assisting with general labouring tasks when not operating the machine.
Requirements
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler licence – essential.
- Valid CSCS card – essential.
- Full PPE (safety boots, hard hat, high-visibility vest, gloves, and any additional site-specific PPE).
- Proven experience operating a telehandler on active construction sites.
- Must be competent, experienced, and confident in handling the machine safely and efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and react quickly to on-site needs.
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach to teamwork.
- Must be able to provide references from previous workplaces if you have not worked for RGM Recruitment before.
