JOB TITLE: Telehandler Operator
LOCATION: Chatham, Kent
PAY RATE: £20.00 per hour
JOB TYPE: Temporary (Starting Monday 30th March – 1 Month)
Job Overview:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Telehandler Operator to join a busy construction site in Chatham, Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled operator to secure a solid month’s work on a well-managed site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating the telehandler safely and efficiently on site
- Moving and placing materials in designated areas
- Assisting with site logistics and deliveries
- Loading and unloading materials from vehicles
- Supporting trades and site management as required
- Carrying out daily checks and basic maintenance of the machine
- Adhering strictly to all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Valid CPCS or NPORS (with CSCS logo) ticket (essential)
- Previous experience operating a telehandler on construction sites
- Full PPE (hard hat, high-visibility vest, safety boots)
- Strong understanding of site safety procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
