JOB TITLE: Telehandler Operator
LOCATION: Ditton, Kent
PAY RATE: £22.00 per hour (Umbrella or PAYE only – CIS not available)
JOB TYPE: Ongoing Temporary (Starting 7th April – End of December)
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Telehandler Operator to join a busy construction site in Ditton, Kent. This role offers ongoing work from 7th April through to the end of December. Please note that this position cannot be paid under CIS; only Umbrella or PAYE payments are available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operating a telehandler to move and place materials around the site
- Loading and unloading deliveries as required
- Assisting tradespeople and site management with materials handling
- Performing daily pre-use checks and basic maintenance of the telehandler
- Maintaining high standards of safety and adherence to site rules
- Supporting general site tasks when required
Requirements:
- Valid CPCS or NPORS ticket with CSCS (essential)
- Full PPE (hard hat, high-visibility vest, safety boots)
- Previous experience operating a telehandler on construction sites
- Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Ability to work as part of a team
