LOCATION: Folkestone, Kent

DURATION: Long-term (ongoing work until 2027)
PAY RATE: £20.53 per hour
HOURS: 9 hours paid
We are currently recruiting for a highly experienced Telehandler Operator to join a busy construction site in Folkestone. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and skilled operator looking for consistent, long-term work on a well-established project running through to 2027.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating the telehandler safely and efficiently across site
- Moving materials, equipment, and supplies to designated areas
- Assisting trades and site management with lifting and logistics
- Carrying out daily machine checks and reporting any defects
- Adhering to all site health & safety regulations at all times
- Working closely with site supervisors and other operatives to maintain workflow
Requirements:
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket (essential)
- Valid CSCS card
- Strong proven experience operating a telehandler on active construction sites
- Excellent awareness of health & safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full PPE (hard hat, high-vis, safety boots, gloves, etc.)
- Must be able to provide two recent, checkable work references
