RATE: £19.00 per hour
HOURS: Paid for 10 hours per day – only 9 hours worked
WEEKEND WORK: Must be available to work weekends
We are currently looking for an experienced Telehandler Operator to join a busy construction site in Wingham, Kent for 2 weeks' cover, starting Monday 17th August.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating the site telehandler safely and efficiently.
- Loading, unloading, and moving materials around the construction site.
- Delivering materials to trades and designated work areas.
- Assisting with site logistics and material distribution.
- Carrying out daily pre-start checks and reporting any defects.
- Working closely with the site management team to ensure smooth site operations.
- Supporting general site activities when the telehandler is not in use, if required.
- Adhering to all site health and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements:
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler qualification (essential).
- Valid CSCS Card (where applicable).
- Full PPE, including hard hat, hi-vis vest, and safety boots.
- Previous experience operating a telehandler on construction sites.
- Must be available to work weekends throughout the assignment.
- Two recent, checkable work references.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high safety standards.
