RATE: £23.50 per hour
HOURS: 8 hours paid per day
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Telehandler Operator to join a busy construction site in Canterbury, Kent for a 1-week contract, starting Monday 17th August.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating the site telehandler safely and efficiently.
- Loading, unloading, and transporting materials across the construction site.
- Delivering materials to trades and designated work areas.
- Assisting with site logistics to ensure materials are available where needed.
- Carrying out daily pre-start checks and reporting any faults or defects.
- Working closely with site management and other operatives to maintain efficient site operations.
- Supporting general site duties when the telehandler is not in use, where required.
- Following all site health and safety procedures and company policies.
Requirements:
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler qualification (essential).
- Valid CSCS Card (essential).
- Full PPE, including hard hat, hi-vis vest, and safety boots.
- Previous experience operating a telehandler on construction sites.
- Two recent, checkable work references.
- Strong awareness of health and safety regulations.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
