We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Telehandler Operator to join a busy construction site in Minster-on-Sea, Kent, starting Tuesday 1st September 2026.
The role:
As a Telehandler Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating the telehandler on site, assisting with the movement of materials and supporting the wider construction team.
Duties will include:
- Operating the telehandler safely and efficiently in accordance with site procedures.
- Loading, unloading and moving materials around the site.
- Assisting trades and site teams with material movements.
- Carrying out daily machine checks and reporting any defects.
- Following all relevant health and safety requirements.
- Working safely around other plant, vehicles and site personnel.
- Keeping the work area tidy and maintaining good site standards.
- Following instructions from the Site Manager and ensuring all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
Requirements:
- CPCS or NPORS Telehandler qualification.
- CSCS card.
- Previous experience operating a telehandler on construction sites.
- Full PPE, including hard hat, hi-vis and safety boots.
- Relevant and recent work references.
- A strong understanding of site health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good reliability, punctuality and a professional attitude.
