LOCATION: Capel-le-Ferne, Kent
PAY RATE: £20.00 per hour
PAID HOURS: 8 hours
The role will involve operating the telehandler as required, but the candidate must also be willing to jump out of the machine and assist with general site duties when required. This is an important requirement of the position.
Duties will include:
- Safely operating the telehandler on site
- Moving and positioning materials around the site
- Loading and unloading materials as required
- Carrying out daily safety checks on the machine
- Following site instructions and lifting procedures
- Working safely around other trades and site personnel
- Assisting with general ground/site duties when required
- Being prepared to jump out of the telehandler to assist with finishing or general site tasks
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area
- Following all site health and safety requirements
Applicants must:
- Have proven and recent experience operating a telehandler
- Hold a valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket
- Have the relevant CSCS requirements for the site
- Be confident and competent operating the machine
- Be willing to jump out of the telehandler and assist with general site duties
- Have their own suitable PPE
- Be able to provide relevant references
- Be reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Have a good understanding of construction site health and safety
- Be available for the full day on Wednesday 30th September
- Have the right to work in the UK
