LOCATION: Goudhurst, Kent
START DATE: Wednesday 18th November
DURATION: 1 day (cover)
PAY RATE: £20 per hour
HOURS: 8 hours paid
Duties
- Operating the telehandler safely and efficiently across the construction site.
- Loading, unloading and moving building materials and equipment.
- Distributing materials to various areas of the site as required.
- Carrying out lifting and manoeuvring operations in line with site procedures.
- Ensuring all loads are secured, balanced and handled safely.
- Completing daily plant checks and reporting any defects or issues.
- Working closely with site management, groundworkers and other trades.
- Maintaining a safe working environment and being aware of other site personnel.
- Following all site health and safety regulations and lifting procedures.
- Keeping the telehandler clean and in good working condition.
Requirements
- Valid CSCS card.
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler Operator qualification.
- Previous experience operating a telehandler on construction sites.
- Full PPE must be provided and worn at all times.
- Relevant work references must be available.
- Good understanding of site health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and follow site instructions.
- Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.
- Good communication skills and awareness of site operations.
