PAY RATE: £21 per hour
HOURS: 8.5 hours paid per day
This is an excellent opportunity for a competent and hardworking operator looking for consistent, ongoing work. The successful candidate must be reliable, punctual and confident operating a telehandler safely within a busy construction site environment.
Duties
- Operating the telehandler safely and efficiently around site.
- Loading, unloading and moving materials as required.
- Distributing materials to various areas of the site.
- Carrying out daily plant checks and reporting any defects.
- Following all site health and safety procedures.
- Working closely with site management and other trades.
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.
- Ensuring all lifting and material movements are carried out safely and in accordance with site requirements.
Requirements
- Valid CSCS card.
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler qualification.
- Previous experience operating a telehandler on construction sites.
- Full PPE must be worn and provided.
- Valid references must be available upon request.
- Good understanding of site health and safety procedures.
- Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
