LOCATION: Sittingbourne, Kent

PAY RATE: £21.00 per hour
HOURS: 9 hours paid per day
Duties
-
Operating the telehandler safely and efficiently
-
Moving and positioning materials around the construction site
-
Loading and unloading deliveries
-
Moving materials to different areas of the site as required
-
Assisting trades and site operatives with material movements
-
Carrying out daily safety checks on the telehandler
-
Ensuring loads are secure and handled safely
-
Following site lifting procedures and health and safety requirements
-
Maintaining safe working distances from pedestrians and other site vehicles
-
Reporting any defects or issues with the machine to the Site Manager
-
Keeping the working area clean and safe
-
Carrying out other general site duties when required
-
Following instructions from the Site Manager or Supervisor
Requirements
-
Valid CSCS card required
-
Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket required
-
Full PPE required
-
Previous experience operating a telehandler on construction sites
-
References required
-
Good understanding of site health and safety
-
Confident and competent operating a telehandler
-
Reliable and punctual
-
Good communication skills
-
Good work ethic and professional attitude
-
Able to work safely as part of a busy construction site team
-
Available to work for 2 days from Thursday 22nd October 2026
