We are currently recruiting for an experienced Traffic Marshal to join a busy construction site in Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey. This is a long-term opportunity starting on Monday 17th August, offering consistent work with an established contractor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely directing site traffic and delivery vehicles.
- Banking and guiding plant and machinery around the site.
- Managing vehicle access and egress points.
- Ensuring the safety of pedestrians, site operatives, and visitors.
- Communicating clearly with drivers, machine operators, and site management.
- Monitoring site traffic movements and identifying potential hazards.
- Maintaining safe working practices in accordance with site health and safety regulations.
- Assisting with general site duties when required by the site management team.
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS Card (essential).
- Valid Traffic Marshal/Banksman qualification (essential).
- Full PPE, including hard hat, hi-vis vest, and safety boots.
- Previous experience working as a Traffic Marshal on construction sites.
- Two recent, checkable work references.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong awareness of site safety.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
