LOCATION: Lower Herne, Kent

DURATION: 2 Weeks Cover
RATE: £16.08 per hour
HOURS: 9 hours paid per day
WEEKEND WORK: Saturdays required
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Traffic Marshal to join a busy construction site in Lower Herne, Kent for 2 weeks' cover, starting Monday 17th August.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely directing and controlling site traffic.
- Banking and guiding delivery vehicles and plant machinery around the site.
- Managing vehicle access and exit points.
- Ensuring the safe movement of pedestrians, operatives, and visitors.
- Communicating effectively with drivers, plant operators, and site management.
- Monitoring traffic movements and reporting any potential hazards.
- Following all site traffic management procedures and health and safety regulations.
- Assisting with general site duties when requested by the site management team.
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS Card (essential).
- Valid Traffic Marshal/Banksman qualification (essential).
- Full PPE, including hard hat, hi-vis vest, and safety boots.
- Previous experience working as a Traffic Marshal on construction sites.
- Ability to work Monday to Saturday during the 2-week assignment.
- Two recent, checkable work references.
- Excellent communication skills, reliability, and a strong commitment to site safety.
