We are currently recruiting for a qualified and reliable Traffic Marshal to work on a busy construction site in Hoo for a 2-day assignment starting on 30th October 2025.
This is a short-term position ideal for someone local who holds the necessary qualifications and is looking for quick, reliable work with the potential for future opportunities through the same contractor or agency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directing and managing the safe movement of vehicles and plant on site
- Coordinating site traffic to ensure safe and efficient access and egress
- Ensuring pedestrian routes remain safe and clearly marked
- Communicating clearly with drivers, plant operators, and site managers
- Assisting with general site duties if required
Requirements:
- Valid Traffic Marshal ticket (or Vehicle Banksman qualification) – Essential
- Valid CSCS card – Essential
- Full PPE: Hard hat, high-visibility clothing, steel toe-capped boots, gloves
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Strong awareness of site health and safety standards
- Must be punctual, reliable, and able to follow clear instructions
