About the Role:
RGM Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Traffic Marshal to join a busy construction site in Uckfield, East Sussex. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining safety and efficiency on site, managing the movement of vehicles, deliveries, and personnel in and around the work area.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious individual to work with a respected company offering ongoing work for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate the movement of vehicles and plant machinery on site.
- Ensure pedestrian and vehicle routes are clearly marked and maintained.
- Maintain safe access and always egress routes.
- Communicate effectively with site management, drivers, and other operatives.
- Monitor site entry and exit points to ensure compliance with safety procedures.
- Report any unsafe practices or near misses to site management.
- Support general site safety operations as required.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A valid CSCS card
- A valid Traffic Marshal (Banksman) ticket
- Full PPE (hard hat, hi-vis, steel toe boots, gloves, etc.)
- The ability to provide checkable work references from previous employers (if you have not worked with RGM Recruitment before)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A strong commitment to site safety and professionalism
