JOB TITLE: Traffic Marshal / Banksman
LOCATION: Ebbsfleet, Kent
PAY RATE: £16.34
JOB TYPE: Temporary (Starting Monday 30th March – Duration: 2 weeks)
Job Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Traffic Marshal / Banksman to join a busy construction site in Ebbsfleet, Kent. This is a short-term role lasting a couple of weeks, ideal for someone with the correct certifications who can ensure site safety and efficient vehicle movement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directing vehicle and plant movement safely around site
- Acting as a banksman for deliveries and site traffic
- Ensuring the safety of pedestrians and workers in high-risk areas
- Managing access and egress points to the site
- Communicating clearly with drivers and site operatives
- Maintaining high health and safety standards at all times
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS card (essential)
- Valid Traffic Marshal / Banksman ticket (essential)
- Full PPE (hard hat, high-visibility vest, safety boots)
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
- Good communication skills and ability to stay alert
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
