Job Overview:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Traffic Marshal / Banksman to join a busy construction site in Folkestone, Kent. This is a long-term opportunity offering consistent work on a well-managed site, ideal for someone with the right qualifications and a strong focus on safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directing vehicle and plant movement safely around site
- Acting as a banksman for deliveries and site traffic
- Managing site access and egress points
- Ensuring the safety of pedestrians, operatives, and visitors
- Communicating clearly with drivers and site personnel
- Monitoring and maintaining safe traffic routes on site
- Adhering strictly to all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS card (essential)
- Valid Traffic Marshal / Banksman ticket (essential)
- Full PPE (hard hat, high-visibility vest, safety boots)
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of site health and safety procedures
- Good communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and proactive
