JOB ROLE: Working Foreman
LOCATION: Kingston, Greater London
RATE: £220/day - £250/day
START DATE: January 2026
About the Role:
RGM Recruitment Ltd is excited to present an opportunity for a Site Manager / Working Foreman working with a well-established construction and fit-out contractor who deliver high-quality residential, commercial and refurbishment projects across Kent and London. With a growing pipeline of work, they are looking to add a skilled and proactive Working Foreman with an internal trade background (e.g. carpentry, drylining, plastering or similar) to their team.
As a Working Foreman, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality internal finishes on a refurbishment scheme. You’ll lead by example on site, ensuring quality workmanship, health & safety compliance and effective coordination of trades. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys being on the tools while also taking on supervisory responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and work alongside operatives on internal trade packages
- Manage daily site operations and liaise with site management and subcontractors
- Ensure works are completed safely, to programme and quality standards
- Interpret drawings and specifications to ensure correct execution
- Maintain site records, tool box talks and H&S documentation
- Report progress and any issues to the visiting Contracts Manager
Requirements:
- CSCS Card
- SMSTS
- First Aid at Work certification
- Proven experience as a Working Foreman or Senior Tradesperson in internal trades
- Strong trade background – ideally carpentry, drylining or finishing trades
- Ability to lead small teams and coordinate works on site
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
